Well done James. Its somtimes easy to get off the subject when
discussing somthing as passionate as homebuilt aircraft construction.
I have found the discussions here informative and lively and I check
in when I can. I'm so impressed that many people with no previous
aircraft construction experience are willing to invest so much time,
energy to educate themselfs in aircraft construction. It insures the
future of our sport. I was offended by Chris W's comments because I
am a former "minimum wage moron" who used the proceeds to help pay
for college. Today I am an engineer doing design work on the Joint
Strike Fighter for a major aircraft manufacturing company. Probably
the last new manned single seat military aircraft this coutry is
likely to see. I'm doing exactly what I've always wanted to do. I
will watch for Chris W's posts in the future and simply ignore them.
To the rest of the builders and lurkers, I eagerly await your
contributions.
