Well I bought the epoxy resin first and then read the instructions on
fiberglass parts at the front of the builders manual. It shows that
there are 2 kinds of glass parts used in RV's. Epoxy glass and
polyester fiberglass. The polyester parts are the ones with white
gelcoat on them ie. the end caps and fairings. I returned the epoxy
so that when I get to the epoxy glass parts ie. cowl, it wouldn't
have been sitting in my shop unused so long. The polyester resin is
cheap compaired to the epoxy, at least a West Marine it was.
Also I stopped at Van's this morning and picked up system 6 light
kit. While there I asked about the hole in the nose rib of the HS. I
didn't receive the plans update soon enough and had the hole done
installed and on to the next part. Per Ken Kruger it will work just
fine in either location. Randy 40006
