The subject asks it all. Will I do good by skipping the hand
squeezer and just buying the Pneumatic, or am I going to kick
myself later?

Just yesterday I resorted to using the hand squeezer in an area where the
pneumatic was too bulky. I use the hand squeezers all the time.

And you can't always just resort to shooting and bucking...even if the
gun/set will fit, sometimes you don't want to go that way. This example I
mention that happened yesterday was riveting gap plates to the spinner
bulkhead. I'm not about to start hammering a rivet gun on my perfectly
balanced spinner bulkhead and send everything out of whack. 8^)

You could always skip the hand squeezer until you need it, and then
beg/borrow/steal or just live with some lag time after ordering it, waiting
for it to arrive.

I'm finishing up the tailcone and I haven't used a hand squeezer
yet....just the neumatic!

I've found good use for both. The hand squeezer for accuracy in
tight spots and the pneumatic for long rows of rivets and/or
dimpling.
