Hey kids!
While clecoing the tailcone together, on page 10-7 step 1, you can
get pretty far into it and then remember it says....you may need to
enlarge the J channel cutout in the F-1007 and F-1008 bulkheads,
mine fit but were just a bit tight. So I pressed on and on went the
skins. THEN, you need to pull back the skins and insert the L
channel longerons Page 10-10 Step 4 (3 pages and a day or so
later).....these babys DID NOT fit.
I ended up using a flat file on the slot while the skin was pulled
back with my other hand. It worked....but did not make for the
easiest task and the best looking enlargement. It doens't take very
much, but I suspect that you will have the same issue since these
kits are so identical.
Test slide you bulkheads onto the the F-1032 -L&R longerons before
you do the assemble 2 pages previous and you will see what I mean.
The Longeron goes in the funny looking slots that are NOT shaped
like the J channel slots.
