Hi All,
On Saturday, January 10th, Bob Archer will be the speaker at the Camarillo
EAA Chapter 723.
The meeting will be held in the EAA hangar at Camarillo Airport (CMA).
The EAA hangar is just west of the large CAF hangars east of the tower, and
just east of taxiway A.
The meeting starts at 9:30 AM. Bob's presentation should start about 10:30
AM.
This should be a good presentation to attend for anyone building, regardless
of how far along in the process you are.
In his career working for TRW designing antenna's, Bob Archer not only
designed aircraft antenna's, he performed numerous range analysis involving antenna
placement on aircraft. From these practical applications, he learned more
than just what "works".
For COM, NAV, Transponder, GPS, ADF, marker beacon, etc. antennas.

Hi Jim,
There is no possible way for me to attend.....any chance that a
video camera could be put on a tripod to record the presentation? I
know that I for one would be more than happy to pay for shipping to
see the presentation. Maybe Bob won't be too keen on the idea..but
I bet there's a whole bunch of us that would be interested.
