Any RV builders in the NW can get a really good deal on drill bits,
reamers, countersinks, air drills, work benchs (the heavy metal
industrial type, $25.00) and more at Boeing surplus. Even if your
just passing through Seattle, its worth a stop. I've bought a lot of
stuff in there over the years, including 4 pneumatic rivet squeezers
of various throat depths up to 9", (the big industrial twin cylinder
types including stands and foot pedals) for $125 each. The stock
varies from week to week. I love the place. I've put together a
really nice sheet metal shop for .05 on the dollar. When they break
down the 757 line its going to be a bonanza. Open Wednesday's and
Saturdays. Get there early for the best deals. I think it opens at
10:00AM. No mail order.

So what you're saying Gerry, is that we should place our orders with
you and you'd be happy to ship them to us...as well as bank roll us
until the C.O.D. comes to our house?
.....and since Van's isn't within 300 kits of hitting 500, is that
you'd be more than happy to loan me one of those large squeezers
until they get closer?!?!?

I just happened to stop by Boeing Surplus this morning for the first
time ever. Tons of odds and ends. Enormous shrink wrap, one ratty
cleco plier, thousands of drill bits, countersinks, reamers, mostly
of the extremely large variety, and on and on. I think there are
many people that sort out the good stuff and re-sell it on Ebay. I
didn't see anything worth standing in the 10-person deep lines.
