Ok, I found something that's almost as bad as deburring....
countersinking the couple of hundred holes on the wing spar. My advice
is to tackle that job over the course of 2 or 3 short sessions, rather
than a nice beautiful Saturday. All in one shot and your arms are going
to be very tired.

I second that notion Tim. I just finished that. I did it in two bursts. It
is a ton of holes huh! Then comes attaching the nut plates. I clecoed one
hole on the nut plates after countersinking and worked it like an assembly
line. Wait until you get to that. It is some serious nut plates. It is 134
rivets on each spar. My take on the initial prep fro the wings is it takes
forever to prep them. Once the brackets are fabricated, the countersinking
is done and the nut plates installed it is back you removing each rib and
priming it. I am at that stage now. It is time consuming and the weirdest
part about it is you can put in 10 hours and it physically looks like one
hours worth of work or it even looks like nothing is done. Weird. I am
nearing the bend to start assembling skins to be match drilled but one thing
I noticed is the plans didn't say to dimple the ribs. I was surprised since
It says to take apart, debur and prime if/as needed. It says nothing about
dimpling the ribs on the first part of rib assembly to the spar. Maybe it is
left out because we should know to do it automatically but not sure. I like
to dimple before priming as it tends to make the 3/32nds dimple tool gummy
when doing it over primer.
Anyway, I feel the pain big daddy. But, I just keep thinking this is a bunch
of small projects that will equal a beautiful aircraft when done. I am
trying not to look at this as one big project. It makes the days more fun!
Have a great Day!
