Hi All,
I am currently working on the tailcone and am trying to make a
decide if I should order a quick build or standard build wing. Does
anyone know about how long a standard built wing takes vs the quick
build wing?

I've heard the standard wing was about 450-500 hours. The QB
is probably 80% less from what I understand.

Hi Myles.
By the time you can get the quick build you will probably be done with the
std build. I changed my mind in mid stream and went std and it goes pretty
smooth. Once the spars are prepped it is all down hill from there but aren't
they (Vans) out like 4 months on the qb wings? That's what I thought. Heck,
I tried to put my name in for the qb fuse and they switched from sending 50
qb to Czech to sending only 40 and I missed it by a day! My thought are you
may be half way through or done with the wings by the time your qb come in
or get delivered to you rather.

In my opinion, the wing isn't too bad except for the fuel tanks. The
fuel tanks aren't that difficult either, they are just very time
consuming. If you were trying to save some money I would have the fuel
tanks pre-built and do the rest of your wing yourself. Then you could
use the money you saved to order the quickbuild fuselage. By the time
you get you wings done you will then receive you QB Fuse.
