Home -> RV-10 topic: Fuel tank vent lines... solved

Randy's tank photos helped me solve a problem with my tank vent lines.
The -10 plans show gromets placed in the aft-most row of holes. When I
ran my 63" vent lines that way two bends were required that caused the
end terminated below the fuel cap to be too short. I saw Randy's
photos and re-plumbed the lines using the aft holes instead. Now I
have ample overage at the fuel cap end and there's better clearance
for the floats...

This afternoon I installed the float sensors. IMHO, the plans were
vague about what goes where - gasket? position on right tank? Perhaps
it's a no brainer to someone who's assembled a tank before, but the
right drawing would have gone a long way. I dug out the archived
resistance posts and that helped too. Once again, Randy's photos of
proper left and right placement saved my bacon.

Regards,
Jay
