Home -> RV-10 topic: Installing Stall Warning or Not?

Author: "rdoerr01" <rdoerr@...> Time: Tue Dec 7, 2004 11:19 am PST Link

I am currently working on the leading edge and have already decided
to use the Dynon Pitot with AOA indicator. Would it make any sense
to still install the Stall Switch from Vans? I would prefer to not
have this sticking out in the wind if it is not necessary.

Thanks

I am using the Proprietary Systems AOA. I did not install the stall
warning switch from Van's, nor did I cut the access panel in the
leading edge.

I put mine in because I like simple when it comes to stuff like stall
warning sensors. If you are uncertain, you might consider cutting the
access hole in the bottom LE skin per the plans. That should allow
enough room to be able to insert plumbing at a later date.
