I am looking for a flying RV4. I have a Citabria 7ECA that I have to
sell first or would trade towards a RV. The plane MUST be well
crafted. I have built a RV6 and know what to look for. Prefer a
light plane, closer to 900lbs the better, which probably means an
0320, fixed prop and day VFR. I will consider all exceptionally
built planes and price depends on equipment. Located in Dubuque, IA.

Hi Tim
I have a average built RV-4. VFR with 0320-E2D and
wood prop but will sell at a reasonable price.
Attached is the sales file. Would consider a trade if
you have any interest.

Steve,
I would also be interested in your information on your RV-4. I have been looking for a 4 for a while. What about a Cessna 140 or cash?

Who knows how many RV or RV-4's are using an Ed Sterba propeller on their
airplane? I have an FAA guy asking me that question with hopes of the
number being high to allow me to only fly 25 hours rather than 40.

There are 1194 flying RV4's according to Van's website, that sounds
like a good number to me! Good Luck with the FAA, I ran a Sterba prop
on mine for 4 years but still had the 40 hours required. Of course
how you log your 40 hours is your business...
It's a good prop, watch out for cracks or any sign of splitting from
the tip inboard. 2200 RPM in rain, Maximum!
