I'm one of the RV4 group moderators, and I got home last night from over a week away on business. Day job, you know.
Believe it or not, after eight days away, moderating isn't the first thing I do. Well, yeah, it is. Just not for the RV4 group!
I'm back, and they don't leave the gate open that often, so I won't be gone for again for awhile.

I think it's a Yahoo problem. I've noticed the same thing with my Yahoo mail. I do not believe this group is moderated. I think only new members have to have their first email approved. But after that we're unfettered.

This one isn't. From the group's main page:
Group Settings ·Listed in directory·Restricted membership·Posts from new members require approval·All members may post·Archives for members only·Email attachments are not permitted
New members have to be approved but that's it. I think that it's because RV-4 pilots on the whole are much more courteous and intelligent than pilots of the other variety of RV aircraft.
