Does any RV builder/owner know of any insurance company that insures
an RV in the building stage. I have a lot invested in mine and it is
nearing completion. I would hate to loose everything if something
tragic was to happen. IE: fire in the shop. Local insurance
companies here know of no way to insure it. Homeowners insurance
doesn't cover it.

I use the vanguard program for Builders Risk insurance. I already had a
claim where my wing was damaged in my shop and the company paid out nearly 7
000. to have it fixed. I was glad I did.

I insured my Cessna, hangar, hangar liability and then RV project during
building and now flying with Scott Smith (SkySmith) He is independent
and will find you quotes on the best insurance. It has been 8 years now
- no claims so far, hopefully never.
