Hi folks.
I am building a "6" and have a question about the center bottom
skins ... When I line up the skin with the F 619 seat rib, I only
have 2 1/4" sticking out beyond the fuselage. The plans say I need
to have 2 1/2". Do I need to order another piece of material? I
think I read somewhere that this is structural and going to tie in
to the bottom of the wing.
Any help would be appreciated.

The portion of the skin extending beyond the fuselage is not structural. It is used to fair in the gap between the fuselage and wings. If you can't make the edge distance work out when you attach the wings, I'm sure you can fabricate a strip similar to the one for the top wing/fuse intersection that will close the gap. It would be a little different, but no harm, no foul...

Thanks for the info Kyle. I may go ahead and order
the other center bottom skin ... and cut it down so
that I have the recommended amount hanging over. I
have to order some other materials as well, so I guess
that could be $'s well spent instead of having to
patch later.
