I was contacted yesterday by Van's and received the good news of an
early delivery of my 7 QB. The kit is due in October, but will be
ready to ship by the end of August. You may want to check to see if
your timetable has moved up if you are expecting a QB.

When I visited Van's a few weeks back our factory tour guide mentioned that
the folks in the Philippines were finding the same thing that builders here
were finding -- that the CNC match hole parts go together much quicker than
they had thought they would. This might be why the schedules are looking
rosier. In fact, as we stood there in front of the steel racks holding QB
fuselages, I asked him whether I should get a QB kit for the 7A. He said
"The normal 7 kit *is* a quickbuild!"
