I just received my pre-plans a few days ago. Are the plans that come
with the kits more detailed or are they the same as the pre-plans but
bigger in size? Also, reading the "directions" in the pre-plans for
the HS refers you to drawing 3PP which isn't in the pre-plans, just
drawing 3. Is this a typo? I'm assuming Van's leaves some info out
so you can't build just from the pre-plans.

Eric,
You will get a set of D size (24"x36") drawings with each kit.
Incidentally you get only the drawings that you will need for THAT kit
not a complte set as you have in the preview plans.
Drawing 3PP is a typo, the PP indicates pre-punched but for some
reason they didn't revise drwg #3.
I guess if you wanted to you could schratch build from the pre-plans,
but all the money you save would probably go towards your funeral.
Now you only have to fax that one sheet of paper, and start banging
rivets.
