I'd like to see polls taken of the following:
- How many of us are building tip-up's / sliders
- What are we planning to use for engine (size)
- Fixed Pitch / Constant Speed
- IFR / VFR
- Electric Elevator Trim versus Manual Trim
Is there someone on the list that can set these up? I would if I knew how
.... or just give me a little coaching and I'll try.
Right now, I most interested in the Electric Trim poll. I elected to go
with Manual Trim, but have not built my elevator yet. After flying in a 6a
this week that had Manual Trim, I thought how nice it would be to have a
simple button on the stick. The 6a is quite pitch sensitive (note ... this
should not be perceived as having a problem) and I believe I will be
"playing with the trim" quite often as I fly about the country side.
Any thoughts?
