Hi Group,
I built the 6 emp. with the 7 conversion skins so I
have 6 plans. (could be different but Van's said the
only difference is the skin thickness) I built the
electric trim version. The hole in the left spar was
neccessary for the run-out of the screw drive of the
servo motor and was pre-drilled in my spar. On my
6 plans this appears in view A-A in the "left elevator/
trim tab assy. inbord end electric trim configuration"
on dwg. 5 (5pp).
Also, the Orndorf vidio was a great help.
