A subaru powered Glastar will leave FL on the 8th of September for a
cross country demo flight. The flight will go through the southern
half of the country and then up the CA coast. Anyone interested in
exploring this engine option for their project can finally see one
fly by sending your airport identifier and contact information and we
will try to make a stop.

Any chance of swing thru Las Vegas? VGT, North Las Vegas Airport,
there are 2 EAA chapters located on the airfield.

I am in Houston, Texas and would like to see your engine as you
travel
across the US. I suspect that you will probably stop at Hicks (T67)
in
Fort Worth. If you get enough interest to stop at one of our Houston
area airports, I would like to be notified.......

Thanx, Victor at: victor170@a...

Yes, we are stopping at Hicks :)  You are the first from Houston, I will
print it and see if we have any more interest.  Right now we would have to
go quite a bit south to get to you.  Any way you could fly to Hicks to meet
us or see us at the South west regional EAA fly in if we can make that on
the return flight?

Jan,

Any stops planned around Atlanta? I'm on north side but could meet you at
any of the locals.

We have a stop in Memphis so you are right in the flight path.  Can you pick
a sutable airport that has auto gas.  We can run 100LL but prefere the auto
fuel if it is available.

I would think we would be there about mid day Saturday the 8 Th.

Jan,

McCollum Field (RYY) is a controlled airport and centrally located
for the North Atlanta area but there is no auto fuel. Mathis Airport
(84A) is the only field within a 50 mi. radius of Atlanta with auto
fuel. It's located NNE of Atlanta but is small, 1550 ft x 20 ft paved
runway. Either will be fine with me and Paul, just let us know.

Thanks,

Dave
