I am getting ready to button up the vertical stab and in the Orndorff video
our friend George talks about drilling a 7/16 hole in each rib and putting
in a 'snap grommet' and a pull string for running wires through the stab
later. I am not really planning on putting anything on top of the VS
(strobes will be in the wings, with a rudder light from Vans), but this
seems like a reasonable thing to do anyway. Question is, is there an
aviation spec grommet I should be using to do this? Is it rubber or some
other material? Otherwise it's going to be something from Radio Shack...
