I bought a 3X rivet gun. While practicing I began to think that this
was not my cup of tea, lots of bad rivets. Also lots of practice in
removing bad rivets. My compressor runs from 120-160 PSI which is to
high. Purchased a regulater and a water and oil filter from Grainger.
The filters to protect my investment in the air tools. Set the
regulator at 55 PSI and riveting became much easier. Also bought a
pneumatic rivet squeezer from Avery, what a wonderful device to both
rivet and dimple. With the air pressure set at 55 PSI the Sioux
air drill works great the only time I have to raise it is when I'm
using the pneumatic squeezer. Hope this helps.
