Has anyone reserved a N Number online? I sent my request about two
weeks ago and haven't heard anything from them about which of my five
choices was selected. They have deducted the ten dollars from my
account already. Should I receive a letter in the mail from them or
do they notify me via e-mail of my new N Number. Any information
would be appreciated.

Just got the notification of reserved N number in today's mail. FAA
letter was dated the 22nd and I did my request on-line awhile back.
Also checked data base to make sure my number was not already in use
or reserved.

I did my reservation online on 8-14-01 and just received a letter of
confirmation from the FAA (dated 8-21-01).
For any others interested in reserving a number online, I put
instructions on how to reserve an N number online on my builder's
