Actually prepping to prime the aileron pushrods. I think I can get
the primer in there ok but the question is prepping the inside of the
tubes. I've been scotchbrite, alumaprep, alodining prior to priming
everything else but I'm not sure how to go about the inside of the
tubes. The steel tubes especially are pretty dirty inside, obviously
they don't get the aluminum treatment but need to be cleaned prior to
prime. Anyone have an "easy" techinque?

Neil,
Just cut a piece of scotchbrite and drag it thru the tube with a piece of string a couple of times. Then do the same with a rag soaked with whatever cleaner you use. Then pour the primer in and spin the tube. Job done.
