I had the opportunity to stop by Van's this morning for a tour and a
demo flight. Gus from Van's took time out of his busy schedule to
show me around and take me up in the 7. The timing was great as the
clouds cleared long enough to go up for a half hour. This was my
first flight in an RV and I was impressed with the climb rate and
speed. The plane was already a 1000 feet high at the end of the
runway. This was awesome motivation for the long building process
ahead. If you are anywhere near Portland, it's definitely worth the
time.
