Anyone else noticing the inboard ribs on the wings dont match up to
the rear spar ( I think it was the 2nd and 3rd ones). Not a big deal
but wanted to make sure I was ok drilling the new holes.. Thanks in
advance for any input. Robert Hasch (In Maine RV7A)

Robert: I just finished my left wing 7A. and I didn't have any misalind
holes in the ribs. The holes in the spar web and the doubler web were not
true, I had to run a #30 reamer thru before I could get a rivet in. Doyle

Robert,

Better check it again and make sure you have the right ribs in the right
place. All of mine aligned perfectly. Did have to fianl drill for rivet
installation, but that's all.

yup, i had that same problem. i went crazy thinking that i had mis numberd some ribs during priming. after stressing out for awhile i called vans. they said that that there were some -7 wing kits with some holes mis-aligned. i used the spar holes and back drilled new holes in the ribs. If i am not mistaken, i think three holes had to be drilled.
