On the rear spar of the HS, drawing 3 shows an area that needs to be trimmed away to make room for elevator control horn movement. I don't see anything about this in the instructions, or on the Orndorff video. Shouldn't this be done prior to priming ( thanks for the info on that), or is it something that will de done at a later point?

It's easier to do it now before you rivet the spar reinforcement
strips in place. Just follow the general dimensions hand drawn on
the plans and cut the web off.

I trimmed out these sections prior to priming. Like you I saw no other
reference to this.
