Home -> RV-7 and RV-7A topic: Landing light in wing tip

Author: "aa777phil" <aa777phil@...> Time: Thu Dec 27, 2001 7:41 am PST Link

Anyone know anything about the landing light in the recessed back of
the new wingtip? Seem this would be better than cutting into the
leading edge.
Thanks

I talked to RMD a couple of months ago and he said that he was
designing a landing light for the new wingtip. He didn't recommend
the one he currently sells. I went ahead and put in the Duckworks
lights and I am fairly happy with the outcome. (Everyone else's
always seems to look better).

Someone else either on this list or the RV list had put something
together and was guaging whether there was interest in a kit or not.
I can't remember who it was, but it was pretty recent.

Thanks

RMD AIRCRAFT LIGHTING (BOB DEBORDE) 503-628-6056 RV WING TIP LANDING LIGHTS
You can find this listing in Gary VanRemortel's RV Builders' Yeller Pages

This is a great source of contact info for everything RV. It's continuously
updated so bookmark it - you'll refer to it time and time again.

Thanks, Greg, I haven't gotten to the wings yet, but I have had the
the RV Builders' Yeller Pages bookmarked for some time.
