Home -> RV-7 and RV-7A topic: Dumb Question

Author: Clifford Dow <cdowjr@...> Time: Fri Dec 28, 2001 8:11 am PST Link

In a recent e-mail the following statement was made
with "BTW" in it - what the heck does "BTW" mean! I
keep seeing it. I'm sure this is a very dumb question
but my mind is blank on what this might stand for.

Below is part of the text in which this was used.

"Don't do this until you have bent the skin to it's
final shape and are ready to rivet it to the spar.
BTW, I think the right rivet is the CS4-4.
I intend to use #4 stainless screws on all tips. I
think it looks better than rivets and it is certainly
better than bondo (which is what I did on my RV-6 and
regretted it).

Finally, a question I feel qualified to answer!
