A while back there was a post regarding priming of the VA-146
elevator bearing, does anyone have any follow up?

Hi Ian,

If I´m not mistaking, I was the one who asked the question but I decided not to wait for an answer and primed the bearing by simply covering the center with a piece of tape to avoid paint from actually entering the bearing.Just do it lightly and assemble (rivet) the bearing. Came out very nicely on this side of the ocean.
