I've been pretty pleased with Tempo products - zinc
chromate primer - part #5606 - comes in individual
spray cans. tel.#1-800-321-6301
the company calls itself a "Manufacturer of High
Quality Products engineered & manufactured to meet the
high demands of the harsh marine environment."
they have a website at www.tempoproducts.com
the primer i'm using is normally used for aluminum
outboard motor lower units. Seems to work great.
