Any thoughts on Control Vision's EXPBUS 2V - cost
about $299
see the site below:
http://www.controlvision.com/frame.cfm?link=avionics.htm
Looks like it might fit right into the holes vans
provides in the prepunched instrument panel. I'm
looking for a basic electrical system and this set up
sounds nice. Anyone seen one - or have any comments.

Cliff,
Go to www.aeroelectric. com and read Bob's diatribe on the EXP Buss,
then make your own decision.

I just read all the propaganda on the aerolectric site regarding the
EXP bus. I have also read all the literature on the EXP bus. The
rhetoric on aerolectric has nothing negative to say about the EXP,
only that some think they could implement the same functions cheaper.
That may be true, I am planning to use the EXP bus because it is a
prebuilt Master/Accessory/Fuse/(and system monitor with an option).
It takes much less time, less panel space, requires (a lot)less
wiring and is the only practical way you can monitor circuit status
(easily).
