Back in June, someone posted a website address in which one could
search the FAA's N Number registrations and determine by a range
which N Numbers were already reserved and assigned. I thought the
site was:
http://162.58.35.241/acdatabase/DEFIMG.ASP
but that site only allows one to type in a single number, one at a
time. The site I am looking for allows one to put in a range of
numbers and parameters and check multiple possibilities without going
through the time consuming one at a time process.
I also thought the site address was provoded by Randy Lervold,
searched the matronics archive and came up with nothing.
Can anyone provide the address where I can explore ranges of N
numbers instead of doing it one at a time?
Thank you
Dave P

Go to www.landings.com. Their search allows for multiple criteria
and returns multiple hits. The FAA just opened a search facility at
http://registry.faa.gov/ but it is a single search criteria engine.

Read the instructions carefully. This one's pretty cool.

This is my concoction that lets you search against both MASTER and RESERVED
databases. It also lets you look for "available" N-numbers. For instance,
I wanted an N-number ending in "DC"...and this tool lets you do just that.
While you're at it, check out:

(NOTE: you have to put that ":8000" on the URL until my new service kicks
in...)

THANK YOU DAN. I was just starting to write my own search as I am starting
to look for an N number. Wanted to reserve one for my son that matched.
Saved me a bunch of time.
