Home -> RV-7 and RV-7A topic: Bind Rivets and the Rudder

Author: "sdrv7ken" <kholcomb@...> Time: Sun Jan 13, 2002 9:43 pm PST Link

I'm asking for help!

I'm riveting the rudder and intending to us the optional LP 4-3
rivets installing the R-410PP. I find four different blind rivets in
the hardware kits. They are:

MK-319-BS
CS 4-4
MSP-42 and REPL-MD-42-BS
AD-41-ABS

Are any of these the LP 4-3 or do I need to get them at an aviation
supply? Another thing, what's with the part numbers? These four
blind rivets seem to have numbers without conventions, unlike the AN
rivets!

Thanks in advance for your comments.

You should have some in one of the brown paper bags supplied. I'll check my
parts list tonight and tell what the bag number is.

Hello Steve,

apprciate your checking you checking the brown bags. Somehow there
must be a cross in the drawing part number and the number on the BOM.
