The emmpenage is here !!! The emmpenage is HERE! I can stop working
on the shop and start building the tail. Boy-it sure is fun fondling
all those aluminum parts that were just numbers in a book for all
these months. I'm building the slow way as fast as I can. The goal is
to fly N630SK to North Carolina for the 100th anniversary of the
Wright brothers flight on Dec.17 2003.BTW my serial number is 70630.
Well back to the inventory. RV7A/slowbuild/emmp. Sam Kurtz.

Large plans for the tail are included in te box. The binder (manual) holds all drawings but scaled down.
Happy building !

Sam
Good luck
start with the Vertical Stabilizer - it's the easiest
part and put the rivet heads (the ones which fasten
the main spar to the thicker support brace) outside
the skins - the mashed end inside the skins - you
should find all kinds of comments on this topic on
this yahoo site - do a search for Vertical Stabilizer

that's my advice.
Good luck

Congrats Ken and welcome, it IS a lot of fun.

According to your builder number compared to mine, Vans has sold some 400
RV7 emp kits since I order mine last June. Not even counting the RV4, 8 and
9's that's a lot of airplanes under construction. If anyone is still on the
fence wondering if these are real serious airplanes, or whether Van's is
here to stay, it's time to jump in and smell the primer, proseal and avgas.
There's gonna be a lot more of these on the flight lines in just a few years
cause their easier to build now and make even more sense. My advice, keep
pounding those rivets and continue to make progress even when it's seems
slow. There are lots of things that can slow you down, so keep it simple,
build to finish (and to have fun building) It's gonna be a lot of fun flying
these things, en masse!

Congratulations Sam! I know how must feel.
My Emp arrived first of June and I'm still excited about it.
Especially now that it looks like the ass-end of a real airplane.

Where are you located? I'm in Cape Coral, FL.
