Dear Joni:
No you are absolutely NOT bugging me. Actually I’m
flatter that you’re even writing to me. I’m not seeing
anyone. I thought you were wonderful, and so that’s
why I introduced you to my best friend George. Sounds
silly right. Well at the time I was kind of involved
with someone – or I should say at least I owed them a
chance to see if things might work. We had only had
one date before I met you.
Anyway I’ve jumped into a huge project - like already
spent $32,000 since July – when I first jumped into
this project. I’ve just been hunkering down saving to
buy parts – like I need a $30,000 engine next – on
top of that I’m kind of burned out from dating – spent
the last year with a woman to whom I thought I would
end up married, however things fell apart
Hey most Saturdays now I’m working with two friends on
the RV (they just make sure I do things right! - just
kidding). I’d absolutely love to have you stop in so
I could show you my project as well as my home. Like
this sat. I’m working from 8am to 3pm. 7-8Am getting
coffee at dunking donuts! Like French Vanilla!
Well we will have to get together soon.
Take care and believe me I love to get e-mails from
you.

Jeezee Cliff, way more than I wanted to know. Thot I was the one that
sniffed too much pro-seal. I didn't mind building fuel tanks. Like building
so std. kit is fine, & being retired, time is not a problem. As an ex Naval
Aviator with a fair amount of test flying and experience with new engine
design......my conclusion is a new io-360. Not a close call. My 2c.

Cliff,
It is so sweet how you insinuated your airplane, every pilot's first
true love, into your love life! You are the kind of big lug that makes
building an RV such a pleasurable experience...Joni should be thankful to
have someone like you to look forward to each day!

Cliff,
It's OK. Embarrassing, but OK. Just remember, if/when you get tired of a
particular airplane, you can sell and somebody gives you money for it. If
you get tired of a woman, well .... you have to pay! :-)
Hope your relationship goes well.

Hey guys,
Think before you have too much fun at Cliff's mistake!
Sources, whose names can't be revealed at this time because of
national security interests, tell me that "Joni" is actually an
undercover agent working in behalf of the FAA and the National
Security Agency. Seems "Joni" is a perfect agent, great looking and
all the right NACA shapes that make things go fast, with lots of
excess horsepower in front of the firewall. However, before the
entire RV community falls in love it should be known that she's really
an airframe inspector and she's doing early reconaissance work. She's
checking out Cliff's "workmanship" and "shop etiquette" in an effort
to build a case against the eventual issuance of an Airworthiness
Certificate. I suspect she'll find Cliff's work, "skills", and
"talents" to be of an impeccable nature and she'll become frustrated
with the mission and switch sides. Soon we'll get to meet Joni at
Oshkosh.
Keep up the good work, Cliff!! I enjoy your posts; even the
irrelevant ones regarding your airplane.
Smiles,
Monte McDavid

No, Robert, I am Kyle Beckstrom, From Kirkland, Wa. (Right next to Seattle).
I'll probably be one of those dreaded lurkers in here for awhile, as I have
yet to pick up my tail kit, but in the next month I should be rolling on

Yes, you can have your airplane and eat French Vanilla too...but
A few things to remember about matters of the heart:
-it's easier (and cheaper) to get a checkout on a new aircraft than a
new woman,
-It's easier ( and safer) to improve the performance of your airplane
than your woman,
-it's usually not considered good etiquette to share your woman with a
friend,
-both cost lots of money,
-airplanes are far more predictable,
-airplanes are usually down for maintenance only once a year,
-both leave smoking holes when handled incorrectly.
However, without love we have an unfilled spot in our hearts. Therefore I
must give equal time to the merits of love, said best by the poets (who must
have been in deep when writing)

Bevan,
I like your ideas on love, and how you compare aircraft to women.
Didn't know you were a such a scholar.
Obviously you have had alot of experience in this area....hopefully
with your wife.
So I appreciate your advice, Bevan, and to you, Cliffee baby, thanks
for the entertainment, and good luck dunking your donut.

after I write it - just to check, double check, triple
check, quad check, cinque check, six check, setpee
something check, octopey check, nique check, dix check
-my address to make darn sure I don't send any female
messages to this site again.

Ok PICK ON ME - see if I care! - check out the e-mail
I just got!
Do you all think she's the one for me?
PS as long as she can find the pole under the sheets
I'm content!

PPS do you think A woman might want to kill a man who
shared his intimante thoughts with his RV friends!
Hi Cliff,I'm sitting here at home waiting for my new
TV to arrive! I'm so
excited! I
just hope it fits where I want it to go. Then, of
course, someone else has
to come on a different day to install the thing! God
forbid they should do
it all in one day! That would be way too easy! So as
I wait, I thought I
would catch up on my emails.
Anyway, I completely understand about the whole dating
thing. In fact,
that's probably why i'm so comfortable e-mailing you
because I know what the
deal is. So absolutely no worries about that..ok? I
promise.
Would love to come see your house! Saturdays are great
for me too. This
Saturday(26th), I am volunteering so I wouldn't be
able to get up there
until, say, after 6pm, maybe 7..Let me know if that
works for you. If not,
we'll keep trying until we connect. Sound good? I'll
grab a couple
beers..(or coffee)...on my way..just let me know what
you would like. Oh,
yeah and give me good directions! I get lost pretty
easily! :)Talk to you soon.
Joni

If she finds out you're sharing your email with 100s of friends you're
toast.
Good luck building/courting.
