Randy,
I have recently finished my empennage and while I'm waiting for my wing kit,
I plan on attaching the tips. I assume your method is to attach plate nuts to
the inside of the tips. My question is, how do you mount them to the fiber
glass?
So may questions so little time.

I mount them on a strip of .050 or .063 aluminum. I then rivet the
aluminum strip as well as glue it to the fiberglass. I put a rivet
between each nutplate and on each end. That with the glue will hold
it forever. The one tip I'll add is to take your Dremel with a drum
sander attachment and level the backside of the fiberglass so the
aluminum strip lies flat and perpendicular to the screw hole.
