What did you folks do to insure that the aileron leading edge skin
lies flush where it overlaps the trailing edge skin? Did you edge
roll the trailing edge? Did you hand form the whole leading edge so
that it "just touches the spar" without being clamped? Or does it
just turn out that way without any effort?

This sucker is a little dusty at this point, but you can see that the skin
lays down flush with no help. I didn't edge roll it or anything. I didn't
do any massaging of the leading edge skin either...if anything, that sucker
got stretched open all over the place during riveting. But when it got
closed up, it laid down flat no problem. I suspect yours will, too, once
you rivet it.

--- I didn't do anything special, don't have an edge roller, just
riveted it like I knew what I was doing and it laid flat no problem,
maybe just luck but thats what it did.In RV7and7A@y..., "Tom Wruble"
