Hi there all from Western Australia.
Does anyone know of someone with a mold or of anyone making and
selling intersection farings for RV7's?
The empenage and wings are done on our RV and the fuselage has been
started, finishing kit is on the way. Hoping to have kit done before
we head off to Oshkosh. Just the engine to get and hopefully will be
flying by August. As far as we know ours is the first RV7 to be built
in WA.

I just received my Intersection Fairings from Bob Snedaker and I must say I am very pleased with the quality. Anyone interested in saving some time and sparing themselves from a gooey mess shouls contact Bob for a set of these leg and pant fairings. They look Great!!!

I agree. I have them also and while they are not yet installed, it
won't take long to do it. Bob is very good to work with and he
delivers when he says he will.

Roberta,
Which fairings did you get from Bob, the upper/lower gear intersection
fairings, the empennage fairing, all-em-all?
Would love to see pics if you got 'em.
Thanks,

Hi Dan,
I posted photos of the fairings on the RV yahoo site under "Roberta's RV7a".
I got the fuselage-to-leg and pant fairings from Bob. Photos are items in the raw stage, no finishing done yet. They look like they will fit well. I tried them against the fuselage and pants and they line up well. The fuselage-to-leg fairings have splits with a fastening screw and the pant fairings can be mated to the fore and aft sections. First Rate workmanship.

Hi Roberta,
Did you have Van's keep their fairings from the finish
kit? If so, how much of a credit was there?
Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom,
Van's does not supply the intersection fairings. You have to make them yourself, or get them from a source like Bob at Fairings-Etc. The leg fairings from Van's I am using.

Unless I got jipped, the finish kit doesn't come with gear leg
*intersection* fairings...just the leg fairings and the emp fairing. It's
up to us to fabricate/buy/steal intersection fairings.
