Hi,
Simple question, when a QB wing is ready for shipping is it in one
piece or two pieces? I've asked Van's this simple question multiple
times and had no response. So, all you guys that received a QB wing
was it one extra long box or two smaller boxes? My assumption is one
box 27' in length.
Thanks for your help.

Both wings will come in one big box. At least mine did.

Granted, I've never seen one, but I would almost bet my life it arrives in
two pieces. You've got to have two pieces - one on each side of the fuse,
anyway.

Two pieces, side by side, in one big box.

Thanks everyone. Sounds like the answer is two pieces in one BIG box
and mounted side by side.
Also, if anyone's interested I ordered the slow build fuselage and
quick build wing on the same day. The fuselage was due June 23rd and
the wing December 3rd. I've just been told that the fuselage and wing
will BOTH be ready June 23rd.
DG.

I'm not sure "side by side" is the right answer if leads you to
believe that they are end-to-end in a really long box. I'd say
they're "stacked," one laying flat on top of the other with foam
between. Van's website says the wing crate measures 130.375" X
20.125" X 52.375" and weighs 360 lbs. (I don't see a "7" wing crate
but I think the "8" is the same).
