Since this has been a hot topic lately, and I am getting ready to
prime my wing ribs, I was going to place PVC pipe through one of the
lightening holes and fasten it with nylon tie wraps, as on "From the
Ground Up". I will probably use the second hole aft from the main
spar. It seems like most builders are drilling holes in the ribs to
place conduit. Am I missing something? Is there a good reason not to
use the lightening holes?
