Some time ago, I colleted the links below and actually
acquired the Software Gary Newsted describes (xplane)
on his web site. While the model he has is of a RV-9A,
there are others out there of RV-6's

Oh, yea I almost forgot, If you happen to find some
reason to be in the Denver area, Windsong aviation
located at the Jefferson County (KBJC)
(http://www.windsongaviation.com/) airport has a full
motion simulator that the guys there have imported an
RV-6 model into created with X-Plane, by Laminar
Research (www.xplane.com)

check out the demo, COOL stuff, and scientific too ;-)

My plan is to spend time in the sim before I return to
Vernonia Or and fly with Mike Seagar again for more
transition training. Mike's a great (and patient
instructor), I flew with him before I ordered the emp
kit. Thought it would be a good idea to have left seat
time before I started the project.
