I hope you builders are keeping a close eye on the various sealants,
adhesives, fabrics, plastics etc that you are installing in your
planes. I have heard that arguments "if the wing is on fire, the last
thing you ave to worry about is if the sealant holding the conduit in
place is flammable", sorry but this argument will not fly. This is a
deadly serious issue. In the commercial and military world, EVERY
PRODUCT installed in the aircraft must comply with applicable FAA
flammability standards. I know you have heard all this before, and I
don't mean to harp but please, know and understand these products. If
you don't know, ask. Call the manufacturer and talk to the product
specialists. OK, I'll go back in my hole now.
