Just got done installing the manual aileron trim and I must say that I'm not
impressed! In fact I'm considering tearing it all back out and just go
without. I have a tru-trak installed and think perhaps I really don't need
the trim system. Has anybody flown with this system that can comment? I
especially don't like the fact that you are constantly going to be working
against the spring pressure of the system. Thoughts and ideas appreciated.
Thanks,
Walt

I looks forward to some comments also. I purchased the manual trim but have
not installed it. Some comments from others earlier indicated that the
spring tension was not very noticeable when flying and that the system
worked well. If not perhaps electric trim is better but I am leaning toward
manual if it is OK.

I haven't flown mine yet, but the install was simple and went well. The added spring tension is very little. I wish the friction lock device was more accessible for adjustments.
