I've come to the realization that after having two little girls in the last 18 months that this plane is not going to get finished any time in the foreseeable future. So I've begrudgingly come to the decision to sell my wing and tail kit and just buy a plane and be done with it ... I'm kinda wanting to go fly.
The details of the kit are below:
Right spars completed ... ready to start adding ribs
Left wing is just about ready for skinning
Left fuel tank completed with no leaks
AOA kit "A" with ports installed
Whelen position/strobe for the left wing
Gretz pitot mount (chrome)... needs to be fitted and installed
Duckworks 55watt landing lights for each wing (left one installed)
Now, on the tail, I completed one tail kit and while I found my work acceptable by my standards (I've seen much worse flying) I really thought I could do better if I had
another chance, so I bought a new tail kit which is still unopened in the box.
Tools ... I'm a tool freak, so I am very well tooled on this project including a pneumatic squeezer and quite a few yokes.
I'm asking $6500 for the wing and tail, $8000 if you want all the tools to go with it ... it's a bargain either way. I'm in the Seattle WA area and would prefer a local buyer, I'm really not wanting to crate the thing up for shipping, but will if I have to. You can either email me offline frank@l... or give me a call 425-432-1703 if interested.

Have you primed the assembled parts. To what extent is it primed. And with what product is it primed.

I've primed everything with the Akzo (sp?) 2 part epoxy primer. I had
recently decide to move away from that primer and go with the Aircraft
Finishing Systems one part primer/sealer. I've bought a gallon of it, but
haven't tried it yet. I've heard good things about it and it more
environmentally friendly and best of all, no mixing. And it cleans up with
water. It's not that I didn't like the Akzo primer, because I actually did
... I was just looking for something effective that was alittle easier to
work with.
