Hello fellow builders,
I am building the left elevator for my RV7A and I'm about ready to fit the control horns for the trimtab.
For electrial trim I need E-617EEP-1 and E-618EEP-1 but cannot find them in my kit. I do have the manual horns (E-617PP-1 and E-618PP-1). Maybe I misplaced the others or maybe they were not included in the kit.
Can you, fellow builders, tell me where you found these horns ? Did they come in a bag or did they come in the box with the servo ?
Your help is appreciated.

P.S. Bending those endtabs on the trim is not the nightmare that you may think it is. I just completed bending all of them and they came out great. Just follow the directions in the manual, clamp and support everything thoroughly and tap gently until the bends are done ! Works like a charm.

Simon,
I actually had two sets of horns. One came in the main kit, I
believe, and the other came with the electric trim kit. I trimmed
the ones that came with the main kit as directed on the drawings, and
saved the set that came with the trim kit as spares (which I didn't
need).
Good luck.
Ward
PS: I agree about the bends on the ends of the tab. Not so bad. Now
I hope that the ProSeal on the fuel tanks isn't too bad either.
That's only a week away.

The instructions should tell you to trim the horns for electric or manual trim.
