I'm in the process of deciding what type of exhaust
system to use on a Lycoming IO-360M1B 180HP. There is
the Vetterman from Van's and another I discovered,
made by John Forsling in Colorado.
Any comments, dealings, experience with, would be
appreciated.

I recently installed the Vetterman on my 0-360 A1A. It went on easily, tucked in nicely, and fit under the cowl with plenty of clearance. I used one Van's heat muff and the carb heat muff. Everything fit well.

If that's the one I am thinking about. He had a table at OSH. The
welding looked great and if hadn't already had a set I would have
bought the system.
Looked to be a quality product. No personal experience.
Sky Dynamics has a good system for the M sump also.
