I am considering replacing the gascolater with a in-line fuel filter.
Isn't this crazy. I haven't even flown the plane yet.
Anyway. Does anybody have a good quality filter in mind.
I looked at an Accel # 74720 filter. Someone had suggested Accel.
It seems to be for a fuel injected application (ie higher pressure).
Question? Would there any problem with low pressure carburated system
using this filter??
I really didn't see a model with AN fittings.
Any thoughts?
thanks

I'm thinking in terms of two in line filters one each between the
tank and the selector valve. Meant to catch any debris before it
reaches the fuel pump. This also means that one plugged filter won't
result in the engine stopping.
I've been reviewing the options at Summit Racing's website. I'm
looking for a high flow filter with hard pipe connections. I may
have to buy a 45 degree flair tool. Haven't found exactly what I'm
looking for yet, if I do, I'll contact you.
