What seems to be an error in the manual stopped me in my tracks
recently, could anyone clarify the following for me:

The plans specify the pitot hole position relative to the centerline
of the tie-down angle and also relative to the front surface of the
leading edge spar U channel.
This places the hole through the spar flange tight up to the spar web.
The manual then goes on to tell you to drill the flange and lower
wing skin W-705-L for the pitot.
The problem is the hole will go through the leading edge skin not
skin W-705-L from what I can see.

Is this a mistake in the manual or am I measuring something wrong
here?

Also the pitot hole comes close to the edge of the LE skin and quite
close to two rivet holes for the LE Skin attach is this correct?

Regards
