Home -> RV-7 and RV-7A topic: Tank skin alignment

Author: "Jeff " <jeff.conner@...> Time: Sat Feb 14, 2004 7:24 am PST Link

Gary,

I had to order new Z brackets when I was builing my tanks fitting
them to the wings as my skin alignment was off. When I got the new
brackets I printed checkoway's procedure off of his site and followed
it to the "T" The tank and LE skins fit very nicely now. Re-doing
the Z brackets did not take long at all (it always seems to go twice
as fast the second time around) and the replacement cost is low.
Hope this helps.
