I installed the flap actuator weldment last night (no part numbers handy,
sorry). When comparing the two clevis ends, there is a .20" difference in
distance between the clevis ends and the side of the fuselage . I cannot
find any discrepancy in how the plastic blocks are mounted and the weldment
is touching the outside walls of both of the plastic blocks (ie they are
both stuffed in as far as they can go). So I am guessing that the welment is
out of whack.
Has this been an issue with anybody else? More importantly, will this be an
issue when I mount the wings and flaps or will the rod end bearings take
up/in the difference? Thanks.

Hugh
Don't guess I ever measured mine. Although I do remember it being a
tight fit with those plastic bearings.
I have fitup and removed the flaps and push rods without incident.
They protrude thru the fuse at an bad spot. You have to gnaw out a
odd shaped hole to accept the full up flap end bearing.
